🚀Release Notes - Build 5.0.3 

We're excited to announce the latest enhancements and fixes in SIRP version 5.0.3, a minor release with lots of bug fixes and some noteworthy enhancements. Let's get into it!

Exciting New Features:

  1. Quick Stats Widgets:

    • Introducing collapsible stats widgets at the top of the Alerts, Investigations, and Incidents container. Get a quick overview of record trends based on the selected duration and search query.

  2. Playbook Data Loss Prevention:

    • Never lose your playbook data accidentally! Now, when there are unsaved changes in the playbook add/edit, SIRP prompts you to confirm before closing the window.

       

  3. SLA Enhancements:

    • The enhanced SLA feature allows the selection of multiple dispositions in the SLA rule. Now, the same SLA can trigger for more than one disposition, enabling advanced tracking of metrics such as MTTD (Alert + Investigation time).

       

       

  4. Password Expiry Policy:

    • Set password expiry duration as per your organization's policy. Users are prompted to change their password if it expires, ensuring enhanced security and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Miscellaneous Improvements and Bug Fixes:

  • Errors are now logged in the Automation Error logs section if and when TI ingestion fails.

  • The default "visibility type" of comments in Incidents changed from Private to Public.

  • Enhanced filtering and validation mechanism in Incident Management to allow all special characters in the Incident Subject except "=" sign.

  • Added filtering in Incident Management to detect and stop invalid files from being uploaded as attachments.

  • Fixed a bug causing Alert creation failure when attaching a text file in Evidence.

  • Improved field mapping validation in Ingestion Sources.

  • The Approval list (from Approval workflows) now shows the list of Artifacts against which automation Action is requested to be executed.

  • Various bug fixes in the Email Check Connectivity function, Case Creation process, and Playbook execution.

  • Vulnerability Import function enhanced for improved file parsing.

  • Multiple enhancements in the Vulnerability Management module (Assets, vulnerabilities, and assessments).

  • Fixed issues causing password breaks due to the "+" sign in App Configuration.

  • Fixed an issue where the "Source" field wasn't populated in Cases created from Playbooks.
